This is one of the main attractions of Mongolia, located on a tributary of the Orkhon River. Water makes its way through volcanic rock and falls from a height of just over 20 m and then flows through a gorge overgrown with larches. The waterfall was created by a volcanic eruption whose lava covered many tens of km around it. The way to the waterfall after turning off the highway is not easy, but picturesque. On the section after the turnoff from the highway there is no asphalt for more than 70 km. After rain, the road becomes slippery due to clay. Although the locals fly over it in their Priussen. There are campsites, cafes and souvenir shops near the waterfall. You can ride horses, shoot from a bow, fly over a waterfall with a bungee, book an inexpensive horseback tour to 8 lakes. There are always many tourists here.
