Nature Select : How To Chose Your Chlotes On A Trip 2023

For a long time I wanted to write this article and now i could finally made it. With the help of our article : Nature Select you will know what you need to pack , no matter how the weather would be!

How to dress on the road or how to choose travel clothes should be two of the questions of any traveler. The correct answer can make the difference between trembling or comfort, between getting wet at the first snowflakes and being able to enjoy every outing in nature.

In order not to have any inconveniences and not to take care of this after you have packed, you should organize yourself in advance to have clothes for all the situations you may encounter, because the weather is changing constantly.

When we travel we must protect ourselves from at least five factors: a) The wind b) The cold c) Sweating and condensation d) Moisture / water / snow e) Light / sun

a) How do we protect ourselves from the wind? Well, isn’t it enough to get more clothes? Probably yes, but there are also specialized solutions for sale. Another invented membrane is called a wind stopper. As the name suggests, it stops the wind.

The difference between a fleece and a windstopper is that at the same thickness (approximately), a windstopper will keep us warm even if the wind blows.

It would make the difference and you don’t need to take a jacket with you if you don’t need to. If you are hot, unzip or lower the windstopper. Below it is created a microclimate protected from the outside wind and if you are active, you have a chance to warm up a bit. In this category I would introduce a newer material: soft shell. It is slightly elastic and resembles neoprene on the outside. It withstands the wind, but also has a slight impermeability.

b) The cold

Humans have learned many things from nature, including how to keep our bodies warm. Whether we sleep or are outside, the most important thing to keep in mind is that clothes do not produce heat.

Similarly, a quality sleeping bag keeps you warm even in extremely cold conditions even if it doesn’t generate any heat. They only serve to maintain body temperature where it ought to be. Basically, the key to staying still is to keep the body warm within or around it by placing layers between it and the outside environment. In essence, if necessary, we must cover the areas of skin where we lose heat. Here’s where the head comes in: a large amount of heat is lost through it due to its high vascularization. Keep your cap and fez at home and leave the laziness and crap behind. I advise you to have multiple fleeces of all different types, including long, thin, and thick ones.

c) Sweating and condensation

When driving, body perspiration is a major concern. You cannot breathe through perspiration or condensation from the body’s produced vapors if you sweat below the surface.

How can the condensation brought on by bodily perspiration be resolved? Several of them need to be combined:

Wear clothing that is as breathable and permeable as feasible. When purchasing quality clothing for sports or travel, compare different fabrics and pay attention to the label. Avoid packing more clothing than you require. If you are a quick learner, remove your clothes after warming up. Don’t dress improperly for the weather outside. Don’t bring your waterproof jacket if it’s not raining, windy, and you know you’re going up a hill.

They won’t “breathe,” instead creating a microclimate between the body and the outer layer. Purchase apparel with aerators. Usually, these vents are located beneath the arm. It is obvious that, once opened, a ski jacket with a zipper beneath the arm will allow you to exchange steam with the outside world. There are vents on the front or chest of certain jackets.

d) Moisture /rain / snow

The outer layer of clothing is the one that must provide protection from rain or snow. How does he do that? The answer comes either from nature or from technological evolution.

1) Water will pass through shining leather shoes (like girls’ boots) and coats, but not for very long. It will eventually soak through and you will become drenched. Grease or a similar substance is applied to the skin to improve its performance. When waterfowl perform this, the water slides really nicely. We can get a waterproofing solution from mountain stores, even though we are not birds.

2) Other waterproof materials-The seams of all waterproof clothing are vulcanized

e) Light / sun

The solution is much easier in this case: use sunscreen and eyewear. The body is affected by solar radiation, in this case UV light, wherever there is a strong sun, especially at sea or in the mountains, but especially in the winter on snow. A UVA + UVB filter, or a filter for both forms of UV light, is required for the spectacles. Should the glasses lack an ultraviolet filter, they can cause more harm than benefit.
