Taj Mahal
The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located on a platform on the south bank of the Yamuna River on the outskirts of Agra in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The core of the building, like the dome and the minarets, is made of locally fired bricks, which are clad outside and inside with white marble slabs. The Muslim mogul Shah Jahan had the building built in memory of his great love Mumtaz Mahal, who died in 1631.

It was originally called Hailey National Park, but in 1957 it was renamed Corbett National Park after briefly called Ramganga National Park since 1952.
