Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located on a platform on the south bank of the Yamuna River on the outskirts of Agra in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The core of the building, like the dome and the minarets, is made of locally fired bricks, which are clad outside and inside with white marble slabs. The Muslim mogul Shah Jahan had the building built in memory of his great love Mumtaz Mahal, who died in 1631.

The Corbett National Park is located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand at the foot of the Himalayas. It is named after the British hunter and conservationist Jim Corbett, who played a key role in establishing India’s first national park near Nainital in 1936. It was originally called Hailey National Park, but in 1957 it was renamed Corbett National Park after briefly called Ramganga National Park since 1952.

Meherangarh

Mehrangarh is the name of a fortress in the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. It sits at a height of 123 meters on a single rock and towers over the city of Jodhpur, from which a five-kilometer road winds up the mountain The entrance to the fortress is through seven gates.

Umaid Bhawan Palace, located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India, is one of the world’s largest private residences. A part of the palace is managed by Taj Hotels. It is named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, grandfather of the present owner, Gaj Singh. The palace has 347 rooms and is the principal residence of the former Jodhpur royal family. Swaminarayan Akshardham in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India is a large Hindu temple complex inspired by Yogiji Maharaj (1892-1971) the fourth spiritual successor of Swaminarayan, and created by Pramukh Swami Maharaj (1921-2016), the fifth spiritual successor of Swaminarayan according to the BAPS denomination of Swaminarayan Hinduism. Located in the capital of Gujarat, the complex was built over 13 years and is a tribute to Swaminarayan and his life and teachings

Lotus Temple

The Lotus Temple is the second youngest of the eight continental Bahá’í temples in the world. This is located in the Bahapur district of the Indian capital New Delhi. The name is derived from the shape of the building, which is supposed to be reminiscent of a lotus flower. The building opened on December 24, 1986 and has since won numerous architectural awards and featured in countless magazines and newspapers.

It was the residence of the maharajas of the former princely state of Mysore, whose descendants still live in part of the palace today. Dudhsagar Falls

The Dudhsagar Falls are the waterfalls of the Mandovi River in the Indian state of Goa. They are located in the district of South Goa in the Taluka Dharbandora, not far from the border with the state of Karnataka. The amount of water fluctuates very strongly, during the monsoon rain from June to September the waterfalls are particularly rich in water and accordingly dry from March to June.
