Sultan Qaboos Mosque
The Sultan Qaboos Mosque is the main mosque in Oman. It is considered to be one of the most important structures in the country and one of the world’s largest mosques. The construction of the facility was decided by Sultan Qaboos in 1992. After a limited architectural competition, construction work began in 1995 and was completed with the opening ceremony in 2001. Since then it has been named after the builder.

The Qasr al-ʿAlam is a royal palace in Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman. Today, the al-Alam Palace is used exclusively for representative purposes, such as the reception of state guests or the annual tea party on the national holiday. When the Sultan is in the capital region, he lives in his nearby residential palace, Bait al-Barakah in Sib. The palace is framed by the fortresses Mirani and Jalali, which were built by the Portuguese in the 16th century.

Hawiyyat Nadschm
Hawiyyat Nadschm, also called Bimmah Sinkhole, is a sinkhole on the northeast coast of the Sultanate of Oman. The sinkhole lies on an abrasion platform made of Eocene limestone and has an oval shape. The water surface has a diameter of about 40 meters, the distance from the upper edge of the sinkhole to the water surface is about 20 meters.

Ayn Athum is one of the waterfalls in Dhofar Governorate, outside the city of Salalah. This part of Oman has plethora of natural springs and waterfalls, some of which are seasonal and can only be found during the monsoon season (locally known as Khareef).
Ain Athum is also a season waterfall and can only be found in July and August only, subject to the sufficient rains during the season.
