Rijksmuseum Amsterdam
The Rijksmuseum Amsterdam is a Dutch national museum on Museumplein in the Oud-Zuid district of Amsterdam – it is dedicated to the arts, crafts and history. It houses a large collection of paintings from the Dutch Golden Age and a comprehensive collection of Asian art objects as well as artifacts relating to Dutch history.
Van Gogh Museum
The Van Gogh Museum is an art museum on Museumplein in the Oud-Zuid district of Amsterdam, Amsterdam-Zuid municipality, which opened on June 2, 1973. It houses the largest collection of works by the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh. The museum has been accessible again since May 1, 2013 after renovations and a temporary move to another building. The cube house is a design model for residential buildings that was developed by the architect Piet Blom on the basis of cube-shaped structures standing on a corner. Two building complexes were built in Helmond and Rotterdam, which were modularly assembled from these structures.

Markthalle
The Markthal is a market hall in Rotterdam that was completed in 2014. It is in the center of the city, not far from the town hall on Coolsingel and from the Hoogstraat. The latter is the place where the city of Rotterdam was created. It surprises visitors with a modern ceiling painting and artifacts from Rotterdam’s origins.
Oude Kerk
The Oude Kerk is the oldest surviving structure in the Dutch capital Amsterdam. It is located in Amsterdam’s red light district. The church was dedicated to St. Nicholas in 1306. In addition to church services, exhibitions and concerts take place in the church.
Erasmusbrücke
The Erasmus Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge in Rotterdam over the Nieuwe Maas, a main river in the Rhine-Maas Delta. The road bridge named after the philosopher Erasmus of Rotterdam, over which line 20 of the Rotterdam tram also runs, connects the center of Rotterdam with the Kop van Zuid, an urban development area.
Kasteel de Haar
Kasteel de Haar is an extensive castle complex in the Dutch town of Haarzuilens near Utrecht. The current buildings are largely a result of the reconstruction of the ruins of the medieval and early modern period, which was carried out between 1892 and 1912 by the then owner Baron Étienne Van Zuylen Van Nyevelt van de Haar and his wife Hélène de Rothschild and under the direction of the architects Pierre and Joseph Cuypers Attachment.
Hoge Veluwe
De Hoge Veluwe National Park is a nature park in the Netherlands, Gelderland province. A variable distribution of forest and heath areas is typical for De Hoge Veluwe. There are also large sandy grasslands in the north of the nature park. There is still a remaining juniper stand in the west. With over 500,000 visitors every year, De Hoge Veluwe is one of the most visited heath landscapes in Central Europe. Muiderslot
The Muiderslot is a medieval castle in the northern Dutch town of Muiden, built around 1285 and restored in 1370, and has served as a branch of the Rijksmuseum since 1878. The first restoration began in 1895, the second in 1955. During the latter, the immediate surroundings were also restored to their 17th century condition. In 1999, the most recent restoration began, which also included the fortress and the vegetable garden.

Teylers Museum
Teylers Museum is a museum of natural and technological history founded in 1778 in Haarlem (Netherlands). The building on the Spaarne River was originally located behind the home of the textile manufacturer and banker Pieter Teyler van der Hulst, who had no children and stipulated in his will that his assets should be used to promote art and science.

Don’t expect to find too many spicy or exotic meals in the Netherlands, as they’re known for rich and hearty cuisine based around the thriving dairy and farming communities. Among the highlights of Dutch dining are a selection strong cheeses and delicious breads, as well as amazing sweets and deserts, such as waffles, yogurts, and of course, pancakes.
