Bayterek Tower
When the imposing Bayterek Tower was opened in the heart of Kazakhstan’s capital in 2002, it marked a turning point in people’s lives and came to represent not just Astana but the entire nation. Nursultan Nazarbayev, the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the project’s architect, started the Akmurza Rustembekov project at his own initiative to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the former Soviet Union’s independence.

Big Almaty Lake
Situated in a rocky bowl at a height of 2500 meters, this charming 1.6-kilometer-long blue lake reflects the Tian Shan mountains and the enormous fir trees in its placid depths. The lake is surrounded by border guards, and it is not permitted to climb on the dam. The border guards will request and register your passport if you approach the lake too closely. You can take bus 28 and then hike in, or you can hire a taxi here (at least 3000T each way).

Charyn National Park
Park Charyn Located in Kazakhstan, Charyn Canyon National Nature Park is a national park that stretches along the Charyn River. The Canyon is smaller, measuring 50 km from end to end, and is believed to resemble the Grand Canyon in the United States due to its sparsely stratified red sedimentary rock.One of Kazakhstan’s most significant reserves, Charyn State National Natural Park preserves a variety of distinctive landscapes and verdant habitats.

Medeo
The Medeo speed skating and bandy rink is situated in Kazakhstan, approximately 16 kilometers to the south of Almaty. One of the most well-known speed skating rinks in the world, it is encircled by the Transili-Alatau’s more than 4500-meter-tall mountain peaks. The stadium can hold 12,000 spectators and was first used as a natural ice rink on February 5, 1951. It is situated at a height of 1701 meters.

Kaindy Lake
Situated on the northern flank of the Kungej-Alatau, 129 kilometers southeast of Almaty, lies the alpine lake known as Kaindy Lake in Kazakhstan. The lake is 400 meters long and is 1867 meters above sea level in the Kolsai Lakes National Park. It is as deep as thirty meters in some spots. It was formed in 1911 when a powerful earthquake caused a huge landslide.

Park of 28 Panfilowzy
and Ascension Cathedral
Almaty, the capital of Kazakhstan, has a park called the Park of the 28 Panfilowzy. The park, spanning roughly 18 hectares, was founded during the 1870s. It is situated east of the city center in the Medeu neighborhood. The Ascension Cathedral and the Museum of Folk Musical Instruments are the two most well-known structures in the park. In addition, there are statues and a memorial honoring Tokash Bokin and Ivan Panfilov.

Mausoleum of Hodja Ahmad Yasawi
It was constructed in Yasi between 1389 and 1405 under Timur’s direction, the Mongol emperor. It is one of the biggest and best-preserved buildings from the Timur period, despite being incomplete in certain areas. He tested out building techniques and ornamental art at Yasawi’s tomb, which would go on to become famous in his capital, Samarkand.

Ile-Alatau National Park
Kazakhstan’s Ile-Alatau National Park is a national park. It was established in 1996 and has 200,000 hectares of land. It is located in the mountains to the south of Almaty, between the Chemolgan River to the west and the Gorge Turgen to the east. Nur Astana Mosque
The Nur-Astana Mosque is remarkable in both its size and beauty. You will feel as though you are in an Eastern folktale here. The mosque’s 40-meter-tall dome represents the Prophet Mohammed’s age at the time of one of the angels’ appearances, which was 40 years ago. The minaret is 63 meters high, and the Prophet lived for precisely 63 years. The Kiswah, the cloth that covers the Kaaba (the holiest place in Islam), and the special Quran from the Saudi government’s printing agency are also stored here.

Hazrat Sultan Mosque
The Hazrat Sultan Mosque is located in Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan. It is currently the second-largest mosque in Central Asia, having been constructed between 2009 and 2012.The Hazrat Sultan Cathedral Mosque is one of the newest sights in Astana, the nascent capital of Kazakhstan. This tallest mosque in Central Asia took up to three years to build, and it was officially opened in July 2012. The enormous structure, which resembles an oriental palace, was built by more than 1,500 experts and builders who worked together to create Astana’s most stunning monument.

Almaty Central Mosque

First President park
Situated in the southern Bostandyq District of Almaty, First President’s Park is an urban park accessible from the intersection of Navoi Street and Al-Farabi Avenue. The park bears the name Nursultan Nazarbayev, the first president of Kazakhstan, and it opened in July 2010.The largest fountain in the city, a multi-stage water theme with lights and music, is the park’s main attraction. The primary jet fountain is 30 meters high and 70 mm in diameter.

Central park for culture and leisure
Almaty, the capital of Kazakhstan, has a park called the Central Park for Culture and Leisure. The park was created as a state garden in 1856 and spans more than 100 hectares. It is situated in the city’s eastern Medeu neighborhood. There are around two thousand different plant species in the park. In addition to the Spartak Stadium, there are many rides, an aqua park, and artificial ponds.
