Haleakala National Park
Hawaii’s island of Maui is home to Haleakalā National Park, a national park administered by the United States. The latest known eruption of Haleakalā occurred approximately 1790. Originally a section of the Hawaiʻi National Park, the national park was created in 1916. The region was governed autonomously after being divided from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park in 1961. Since 1980, the park has been recognized as an international biosphere reserve.

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a biosphere reserve spanning roughly 1348 square kilometers in southeast Hawaii, has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. The region contains the active volcano Kīlauea in addition to vast lava plains. The Diamond Head
The Diamond Head, or LēŻahi in Hawaiian, is a 232-meter-tall tufa structure on the Hawaiian island of OŻahu, and it serves as a symbol for Waikīkī and Honolulu. Nā Pali Coast State Park
Hawaii’s Nāpali Coast State Wilderness Park is located northwest of Kauai Island. It is renowned for the tall pali, or sea cliffs, that are broken up by streams, waterfalls, and little valleys. Between neighboring Ke’e Beach and sandy Kalalau Beach, there is a steep walking path called the Kalalau Trail that winds through the park. It passes through five valleys, one of which being the Hanakoa Valley, known for its old agricultural terraces and native vegetation.

Hanauma Bay
The Hanauma Hawaiian is a marine embayment situated in the Hawaii Kai area of East Honolulu, on the southeast coast of OŻahu, the Hawaiian Islands. It is formed within a tuff ring.One of the most visited places on the island, Hanauma, has suffered a little from overtourism. This well-liked vacation spot used to host more than three million guests annually. To provide space for phone wires that would connect Hawaii to the US west coast, parts of the reef were cleared in 1956 using dynamite.

Kīlauea
Located in the Hawaiian Islands, Kīlauea is an active shield volcano. Situated on the southeast coast of Hawaii’s Big Island, the volcano is thought to be between 210,000 and 280,000 years old, having erupted above sea level roughly 100,000 years ago. Of the five volcanoes that make up Hawaii island, it has historically been the most active. Kīlauea is among the most active volcanoes on Earth. The most recent eruption, which is still going on, started on September 29, 2021, when lava started to pour out of many vents in HalemaŻumaŻu, a pit crater in the summit caldera of the volcano.

Kualoa Ranch

Kalalau Trail
The 11-mile Kalalau Trail stretches along the Nāpali Coast on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, from Ke’e Beach to Kalalau Beach. The Hawaii State Parks system includes the Nāpali Coast State Wilderness Park, where the Kalalau Trail is located.The only way to reach this untamed section of the shore is by land, via the Kalalau Trail. Kilauea Lighthouse
Situated on the Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge on the island of Kauaʻi, Hawaii, lies the Kīlauea Lighthouse.Kīlauea Point is a tiny peninsula of lava that rises from Kauaʻi’s northern shore. It was bought for one US dollar in 1909 from the Kīlauea Sugar Plantation Company.Prior to starting construction, a strategy for getting supplies to the location needed to be devised. It was decided to transport the materials in by sea because there aren’t many excellent roads leading from the Nawiliwili harbor. After anchoring offshore, the lighthouse tender Kukui would send small boats to a cove close to the point with supplies. The boats would anchor to cleats set into the lava rocks at the spot because there was no beach landing.

Polynesian Cultural Center

The Pools at 'Ohe'o
In the ʻOheŻo Gulch region of Haleakalā National Park, there are tier pools.Where: At mile marker 42, 10 miles south of Hāna How much: An annual park pass costs $25, while a three-day pass is $15. The park entrance cost is $10 per car.The well-known Pools of ʻOheŻo in ŻOheŻo Gulch are located on the lower slopes of Haleakalā, just fifteen minutes south of Hāna on Highway 31. Gorgeous tiered ponds fed by waterfalls can be seen here. The admission charge for ŻOheŻo also grants entry to the Haleakalā Summit, as it is a part of Haleakalā National Park. Be sure to keep your receipt! In addition, the Kīpahulu region of Haleakalā National Park offers an abundance of self-guided hiking paths that go past thunderous cascades and through bamboo forests.

Waikiki Beach Hawaii
