Bern, the city Switzerland is the capital and political municipality of the same-named canton. Switzerland’s capital, Bern, is referred to as the “Federal City”. The old town of Bern
Bern, Switzerland’s historic city center is known as the Old City (German: Altstadt). Constructed between the twelfth and the fifteenth centuries on a narrow hill with the river Aare on three sides, its compact layout has little changed. Bern’s old city has maintained its medieval character despite significant development in the seventeenth century and a significant fire in 1405, which led to the reconstruction of much of the city in sandstone. Along with numerous churches, bridges, and a sizable collection of Renaissance fountains, the Old City is home to Switzerland’s tallest minister. The Italian architect Renzo Piano created the Zentrum Paul Klee, a museum devoted to the artist, which is situated in Bern, Switzerland. It includes almost 40% of Paul Klee’s total body of work. Einstein Museum
The second-largest historical museum in Switzerland is the Bern Historical Museum (German: Bernisches Historisches Museum, French: Musée d’Histoire de Berne). André Lambert, an architect from Neuchâtel, created the design, and it was constructed in 1894.The architect used a number of ancient castles from the 15th and 16th centuries as models because it was originally intended to be the Swiss National Museum, which Zurich was eventually selected to house. In 2009, an addition to the original museum structure was finished. In addition to permanent exhibits featuring artifacts from Asia, Oceania, America, and Egypt, the museum features items pertaining to Bern’s history from prehistoric times to the present.

Zoo Bern & Bear Park
The city of Bern’s public zoo is called Zoo Bern. It comprises of the bear park, which is physically isolated from the rest of the zoo, and the animal park known as Dählholzli. Established in 2009, the Bern Bear Park is an animal enclosure located near Bern. Oeschinensee
Oeschinen Lake, also known as Oeschinensee in German, is a lake in the Oeschinen valley of the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland, located 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) east of Kandersteg. With a surface area of 1.1147 square kilometers (0.4304 sq mi), it is located at a height of 1,578 meters (5,177 feet). Its deepest point is 56 meters, or 184 feet. The lake was formed by a massive landslide, and it receives water from subsurface drains and a number of mountain streams. At that point, the Oeschibach emerges from the lake. A portion of it is caught and used to supply water to Kandersteg and produce energy. The elevation of the lake surface ranged between 1,566.09 meters (5,138.1 feet) and 1,581.9 meters (5,190 feet) in observations made between 1931 and 1965. Between September and April, the average seasonal variation was 12.2 meters (40 feet).Typically, the lake is frozen from December to May, a period of five months. Bundesplatz
The Government Plaza in Bern, Switzerland’s de facto capital, is known as the Bundesplatz, or “Federal Square.” It is located in Bern’s medieval city center, the Old City. Although the plaza was not constructed until much later, it is a part of the Innere Neustadt, which was constructed during the second expansion in 1255–1260. It is a component of the Old City’s UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site and is situated in front of the Bundeshaus, the Swiss Parliament Building.

Dalmazi Bridge
In Bern, there is a little bridge that crosses the Aare called the Dalmazi Bridge. It links the Marzili district to the Kirchenfeld. A concrete bridge was erected in 1958 to replace the iron bridge that had been constructed between 1871 and 1872 with financial assistance from the Marzili landowners and the Bern civic society.
