I really wanted to write this article about the world natural wonders that should not be missed by any lover of nature and travel!
We also wrote a list of wishes that we would like to check during our lifetime. You can consult it and see how many of these wishes you have checked and which you would like to fulfill.
Now let’s begin to see together the natural wonders of the world that should not be missed and that any travel lover should see in the time of his life.
Southern Africa’s Victoria Falls is a cascade on the Zambezi River that serves as a home to a number of rare plant and animal species. With a breadth of 1,708 meters (5,604 feet), it is situated on the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia and is regarded as one of the biggest waterfalls in the world.
The Colombian river Caño Cristales is situated in the Meta province’s Serrania de la Macarena. The river is renowned for its vivid hues and is often referred to as the “Liquid Rainbow” or the “River of Five Colors.” The river’s bed exhibits a range of colors from late July to November, with the last hue being generated by Macarenia clavigera plants that grow on the riverbank. Other colors include yellow, green, blue, black, and red.
Situated in the western region of the country lies Yellowstone National Park, an American national park. Many people believe that Yellowstone was the first national park in the world in addition to being the first national park in the United States. One of the park’s most well-known geothermal phenomena, Old Faithful Geyser, is among its many other natural wonders.
Caves, tunnels, and massive columns of pure marble have been formed as a result of the water’s erosion of the massive marble deposits on the General Carrerra Lake’s shore over a period of 6,200 years. As water seeped into tiny fissures and widened them into fractures that were progressively worn away, marble at the water’s surface disintegrated the fastest. As a result, there are several islands, including the well-known “marble cathedral” and “marble chapel,” and a marble maze that is just above the water’s surface. Even though the rock is the main attraction, the lake’s other stunning feature—the vivid blue tinge caused by glacial meltwater—can be seen if you look down from your boat or kayak.
The moist broadleaf tropical rainforest that makes up the majority of the Amazon basin in South America is known as the Amazon rainforest, [a] Amazon jungle, or Amazonia. Of the 7,000,000 km2 (2,700,000 sq mi) that make up this basin, 6,000,000 km2 (2,300,000 sq mi) are covered by rainforest. There are 3,344 indigenous territories and nine nations’ territory in this area.Brazil has 60% of the forest, followed by Peru (13%), Colombia (10%), and Bolivia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela (in smaller proportions). One of the first-level administrative regions in four countries is called “Amazonas,” while the protected rainforest area of French Guiana is known as “Guiana Amazonian Park” in France.
Southwest Turkey’s Denizli Province is home to Pamukkale, a natural wonder that translates to “cotton castle” in Turkish. The region is well-known for the carbonate mineral that thermal spring water leaves behind. It is situated in the River Menderes valley in the Inner Aegean region of Turkey, which experiences a temperate environment for the most of the year.
Having been founded in 1885, Banff National Park is the oldest national park in Canada. Situated in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta, approximately 110-180 km (68-112 mi) west of Calgary, Banff spans 6,641 sq km (2,564 sq mi) of hilly terrain, replete with dense coniferous forest, alpine scenery, and numerous glaciers and ice fields.
In the Goldfields-Esperance region, off the south coast of Western Australia, Lake Hillier is a saltwater lake situated on the edge of Middle Island, the largest of the islands and islets that comprise the Recherche Archipelago. It stands out especially because of the color pink. The Southern Ocean (or, by some definitions, the Indian Ocean) and the lake are separated by a long, thin shore.
The Iguazu River features waterfalls known as Iguazú Falls or Iguaçu Falls, which are situated on the boundary of the Brazilian state of Paraná and the Argentine province of Misiones. Peninsular Malaysia’s Taman Negara is a national park. After independence, it was renamed Taman Negara, which translates to “national park” in Malay. With a total size of 4,343 km2, Taman Negara is among the oldest deciduous rainforests in the world, with an estimated age of over 130 million years.
In Quảng Ninh Province, Vietnam, Hạ Long Bay, also known as Halong Bay, is a well-liked tourist destination and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hạ Long is a name that means “descending dragon”. The bay is home to thousands of different-sized and shaped limestone karsts and islets.
The Pacific Ocean contains the volcanic archipelago known as the Galápagos Islands. It is regarded as one of the best places in the world to see animals. It is located roughly 1,000 kilometers off the coast of Ecuador and is a province. Numerous plant and animal species that are unique to this area can be discovered in its remote landscape. Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution was influenced by his observations of the species found in the Galápagos during his 1835 expedition.
One of Croatia’s biggest and oldest national parks is Plitvice Lakes National Park. Plitvice Lakes National Park’s remarkable and picturesque network of tufa lakes, caverns, and waterfalls led to its induction onto the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1979. Located on the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the rugged karst region of central Croatia, the national park was established in 1949. The crucial route that runs through the national park links the Adriatic coastline region and the Croatian interior.
After Boiling Lake in Dominica and Frying Pan Lake in New Zealand, the Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park is the third largest hot spring globally and the largest in the United States. The Midway Geyser Basin is where it’s situated. Geologists who were part of the Hayden Geological Survey in 1871 noticed Grand Prismatic Spring and gave it its name because of its remarkable coloring. Red, orange, yellow, green, and blue are the hues that most closely resemble the rainbow dispersion of white light through an optical prism.
The Philippines’ archipelagic province of Palawan is situated in the Mimaropa region. With regard to its entire territorial jurisdiction, it is the largest province in the nation. Although Puerto Princesa is the province’s capital, the heavily urbanized city is run separately from the province.

Along with woods, rivers, waterfalls, and two sizable natural land bridges, Wulingyuan is home to several endangered plant and animal species.
The Atacama Desert, also known as the Desierto de Atacama in Spanish, is a desert plateau in northern Chile on the Pacific coast of South America.It spans a 1,600-kilometer (1,000-mile) strip of territory west of the Andes Mountains and has an area of 105,000 km² (41,000 sq mi). If the arid lower Andes slopes are taken into account, the area rises to 128,000 km² (49,000 sq mi).With the exception of a few isolated areas within the McMurdo Dry Valleys, the Atacama Desert is the driest nonpolar desert on Earth and the second driest worldwide.It is the world’s largest fog desert and the only real desert that receives less precipitation than polar deserts.Because of its resemblance to the Martian environment, the region has been utilized as a testing ground for Mars expedition simulations.
The reef is situated in Australia’s Coral Sea, off the state of Queensland. The largest single structure on Earth formed entirely of living things, the Great Barrier Reef is visible from space. The structure of this reef is made up of billions of small organisms called coralpolyps.It was chosen as a World Heritage Site in 1981 and is home to a diverse range of life.In 1997, CNN named it one of the world’s seven natural wonders.
With a total area of 10.582 km2, the Becken has a larger surrounding area than, say, Niederbayern. It is also larger than the Onegasee, the second-largest sea in Europe. These microbes use a substance known as luciferin to generate light.

It is the oldest national park in the United States and the world.It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984 because of its breathtaking cliffs, crystal-clear waterfalls, the Riesenmammutbäumen’s wetlands, and its internationally renowned artifacts.
Nowhere in the world compares to Norway’s deep, blue fjords that slicing through untamed mountains and breathtakingly picturesque scenery. Fjords, of course, are not unique to Norway. Fjords are typically found in other mountainous areas of the world that have had ice periods. Nonetheless, Norway is home to several of the most breathtaking and ice-free fjords. Western Norway is also home to the most well-known of them.
The Dead Sea is a salt lake that is bounded to the east by Jordan and to the west by Israel and the West Bank. The Jordan River is its principal tributary, and it is located in the Jordan Rift Valley.

Semuc Champey is a natural monument located close to the Q’eqchi’ Maya hamlet of Lanquín in Guatemala’s Alta Verapaz region.The Cahabón River flows beneath a 300-meter natural limestone bridge. There are several tiered turquoise ponds on top of the bridge, which are a well-liked swimming spot. According to the Qʼeqchiʼ language, Semuc Champey means “where the river hides under the earth.” Semuc Champey is best viewed from the “El Mirador” viewpoint, which is also the most frequented. The views into the valley are unmatched, but the journey through the hot, steep jungle takes around 45 minutes from the parking spot. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
