Teide Mountain Tour
Teide, sometimes known as Mount Teide, is a volcano located in Tenerife, Spain’s Canary Islands. At 3,715 meters (12,188 feet) above sea level, its top is the highest point in Spain and the highest point in the Atlantic islands. At 2,190 meters (7,190 feet) above sea level, the base of Teide is really located in the Las Cañadas crater, which is the remnant of an older, extinct volcano that was degraded by volcanic activity. This is because Teide was built only 170,000 years ago as a result of volcanic activity following a catastrophic landslide. Since I missed the opportunity to obtain a great tan after the wedding, I must admit that I was relieved to see the island’s weather when I arrived. While I was on the island, the weather was ideal and I felt content and at peace. People were grinning and joking all across the island since Spaniards are such friendly people. We always left restaurants and cafes in excellent spirits.

Unfortunately, we booked a hotel in Puerto de Santiago, which is a much quieter region, unaware that the Adeje Coast and Las Americas beach area are reserved for young people when we placed our vacation order. However, as the bus stop for all other destinations on the island was right in front of our hotel, it was not a major issue.
We didn’t stay at the hotel for a day, so we took the bus every day. After breakfast in the morning, we headed out and came back for supper in the evening. We have wonderful memories… we’re young and restless.You can always rent a car if you want to tour the sights at your own pace and don’t want to take the bus.

We rode the bus to Las Americas Beach on the first day, where there were ticket offices for all of the island’s attractions, including Mount Teide, Loro Parque, Jungle Park, Aqua Park, and, of course, the stunning Siam Park. Since this option is less expensive when purchased in combination with the other options, we purchased the Loro Parque & Siam Park Tickets with Transfer.

Playa de Las Américas
We were able to visit one park each day, and we set up one day specifically for Mount Teide. During the two days we had left, we managed to see the island’s center, go on a boat ride across the ocean and see dolphins and orcas, and of course, we saw Los Gigantes, the main attraction at our hotel, Puerto De Santiago. Jungle Park-the only

Los Gigantes
On Tenerife’s west coast, in the Santiago del Teide municipality, sits the resort town of Los Gigantes. The settlement was named for the enormous rock formations known as Acantilados de Los Gigantes, which stand 500–800 meters (1,640–2,625 feet) above the sea. “The Giants” is what Los Gigantes is. The business TITSA operates Tenerife’s bus service, which travels all across the island. They drive a fleet of shiny green, contemporary buses. Either pay for each journey separately or get a 15 or 25 euro “bono-bus” (bus pass). These passes are valid on all routes, shareable among multiple users, and offer a 50% discount off ticket prices.

Getting Here
One of the few Canary Islands that you can go to by airline and ferry is Tenerife. The two airports on the island, Reina Sofia Tenerife South Airport and Los Rodeos Tenerife North Airport, are served by a variety of local and international aircraft.
