Tashkent Uzbekistan is the capital of the country that is surrounded by five countries: Kazakhstan to the north; Kyrgyzstan to the northeast; Tajikistan to the southeast; Afghanistan to the south and Turkmenistan to the south-west. Along with Liechtenstein, it is one of two doubly landlocked countries.

Things to do
Registan
One of Central Asia’s most breathtaking locations is Samarkand’s Registan. Considered a singular example of urban building and architectural design of the city’s central plaza, the trio of madrasas stands together. The Ulug’bek Madrasa is located on the west side of the square, the Sher-Dor Madrasa is opposite it on the east side in accordance with the Kosch concept, and the Tilya-Kori Madrasa is located on the north side.

Gur Emir Mausoleum
Timur Lenk, along with a few members of his family and other notable figures from the ruler’s inner circle, are buried in the Gur Emir mausoleum in the Uzbek city of Samarkand. Constructed in 1403/04, it stands as the most notable illustration of the unique double-shell dome building technique created during the Timurid era. The mausoleum’s ribbed dome, formed like a melon and situated on a tall drum, serves as the complex’s central feature.

ark uzbekistan
The oldest building in Bukhara is the Ark, a royal town inside a town that served as the residence of the city’s rulers for more than a thousand years. The Ark is as old as the city of Bukhara. Although the initial fortress’s founding is unclear from antiquity, it was undoubtedly the main focus of the medieval town’s development. The Arc was initially constructed between the fifth and sixth century AD, according to archaeologists. A palace, a Zoroastrian fire temple, administrative spaces, and guardrooms were all part of the original building, which occupied a roughly rectangular plot of land measuring about three hectares. The town’s primary operations were all conducted inside the city walls, which made them easier to protect in the event of an invasion.

Bibi-Khanum-Mosque

Schahi-Sinda-Ensemble
The mausoleums of Shohizinda, one of the most well-known necropolises in Central Asia, were constructed between the ninth and the nineteenth centuries. This is where the Timurid lords from the fourteenth century were buried. The well-preserved buildings are situated on the Afrasiab valley’s slope in the northeastern section of Samarqand, Uzbekistan.

Amir Timur Museum

Ulug Begs Observatorium
The Gurkani Zij or Zij-e Gurkani observatory, also known as Ulug Beg, is situated two kilometers from Samarkand, the capital of Uzbekistan. The observatory’s ruins and a museum are all that remain now. The Timurid prince Ulug Beg constructed the observatory in 1424–1428 to support astronomers’ observations at the Ulugbek Madrasa.

Poi Kalon
The Poi Kalon Complex is a collection of Bukhara’s historic structures. Old town of Khiva
The walls surrounding the city Itchan-Kalas comprises the four city gates of the ancient old town of Chiwas, Ata-Darwaza, Bakhtscha-Darwaza, Palwan-Darwaza, and Tash-Darwaza, as well as the well-preserved city wall. It is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list, just like the entire old town.The city’s old center, which spans 590 acres (240 hectares), is renowned for its Islamic architecture.

Minor Mosque
The Minor Mosque is located on the restored Ankhor (canal) bank in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. The mosque, which features a sky-colored dome and two minarets, was constructed in the traditional oriental and Uzbek architecture. Its interior is designed in the naksh style, and the mihrab is embellished with hadiths in addition to Quranic quotations. The mosque can accommodate more than 2,400 people.

Ashgabat Park
Adjacent to the Tashkent ring road is Ashgabat, one of the capital’s brand-new parks. The park takes up a sizable portion of what was formerly wasteland. The government ordered the creation of a park and named it after Ashgabat, the capital of the friendly nation, as a sign of improving ties between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. Twelve hectares of land were transformed into an entertainment complex with the newest attractions in 2018. As is already uncommon for Tashkent, the park is separated into two sections: walking and amusement. Each visitor will be able to fully enjoy the kind of recreation they require because of this division.
