Church of St. Leodegar

Jesuit Church
In Lucerne, Switzerland, there is a Catholic church called the Lucerne Jesuit Church.North of the Alps, it is the first sizable Baroque church constructed in Switzerland. Ignatius of Loyola established the Jesuit order in 1534, and the order actively participated in the Catholic Counter-Reformation, which opposed the rise of Protestantism. Switzerland, which is primarily Catholic, was split by Protestant reformers like Calvin in Geneva and Zwingli in Zurich. The municipal council responded by calling the Jesuits to Lucerne in 1573 to start a college. Using his own money, Ludwig Pfyffer, the mayor of Lucerne, provided the Jesuits with yearly financial support. Spreuerbridge
After the Kapellbridge and the Hofbridge, which were destroyed in the 1800s, the Spreuerbridge is the third covered wooden bridge in the city. In the thirteenth century, Mühlenplatz on the Reuss’s right bank and the mills situated in the middle of the river were linked by the first bridge. It took until 1408 to finish the left bank continuation. Chaff and leaves could only be dumped into the Reuss from this, the city’s lowest bridge, during the Middle Ages.

The Musegg Wall
The Musegg Wall with its nine towers, which are a part of Lucerne’s ancient defenses, once served as a symbol of power and formed a spectacular crown around the Old Town. South of Lucerne in Switzerland is a mountain range known as the Pilatus. It is situated in the border region of the cantons of Lucerne to the west, and Nidwalden and Obwalden to the east, in the region of highest heights, where the Tomlishorn, rising to a height of 2128 meters above sea level, is the highest point. Oh no. Perched atop the picturesque local mountain of Lucerne is the Pilatus Kulm mountain station of the Pilatusbahn, complete with an observation deck, a panoramic gallery, and two mountain hotels.

Meggenhorn
The Meggenhorn is both a ship of the Schifffahrtsgesellschaft des Vierwaldstättersees and a castle residence on the Vierwaldstättersee in the Swiss canton of Luzern. Ballenberg open-air museum
at the Bernese Oberland of Switzerland, at Hofstetten close to Brienz, is the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum. Reichenbach Falls

Aare Gorge
The Aare Gorge (German: Aareschlucht) is a section of the river Aare that carves through a limestone ridge near the town of Meiringen, in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland.The gorge is an indirect product of glaciation; 10,000 years ago, just as the Ice Age was coming to an end, torrential runoff water from melting glaciers eroded a deep, narrow chasm through the limestone barrier.[1] Although barely 2 kilometres (1 mi) long, this passage is bordered by sheer cliffs up to 50 m (160 ft) high on either side.[1] The gorge varies in width from some 30 metres (98 ft) at its widest to just 1 metre (3 ft 3 in) at its narrowest.
