Located in the Kolašin municipality of Montenegro, Biogradska Gora is a forest and a national park. Lovćen

Ostrog Monastery

Gospa od Škrpjel
One of the two tiny islands in Montenegro’s Bay of Kotor, located off the coast of Perast, is called Gospa od Škrpjela. It is an artificial island formed by ancient, stone-laden sunken ships and a barricade of rocks. The art of tossing rocks is still practiced today. The people celebrate the yearly fašinada event on July 22nd, during which they throw stones into the sea to expand the island’s area.

Ada Bojana
Montenegro owns the island of Ada Bojana in the Adriatic Sea. It is situated in the Adriatic Sea’s little delta formed by the Bojana River. On its lower course, the Bojana forms the boundary with neighboring Albania. Ada Bojana resembles a triangle in general shape. The extension is roughly three kilometers by 2.5 kilometers. The island was created by the floating Buna/Bojana debris.

Đurđevića Tara Bridge

Cetinje Monastery

Old Town Herceg Novi
Despite being barely six centuries old, Herceg Novi’s Old Town embodies the ideal fusion of ancient and contemporary history and culture. Tvrtko I, the king of Bosnia, founded the Old Town with the goal of making it a prosperous port for trade. Given the importance of salt as a commodity at the period, Herceg Novi started to challenge Dubrovnik in the salt trade. Although it was the newest settlement, Sveti Stefan was also known as Novi (new), Castrum Novum, and Castel Nuovo.

Budva is a seaside town that is home to the trendy restaurant and club Perla. Stari Mlini is a restaurant in Kotor Konoba that serves fish dishes that are prepared using fresh seafood from the nearby Adriatic. Saving Tips
If you can take the train instead of the bus, do so! The train network isn’t as extensive as the bus’s, and it might not go to all the places you wish to see.
