Salto Ángel
Venezuela’s southeast is home to the Salto Ángel waterfall. It is the world’s highest free-falling waterfall, reaching a height of 979 meters. It is referred to as Kerepakupai Vena in the language of the native Pemón people, meaning “about the place of the deepest jump.”Huge mesas known as tepuis by the indigenous Pemón Indians were formed by erosion on the margin of the Amazon basin in Venezuela, Guyana, and Brazil.
The giants, which are thought to be up to 70 million years old, are also known as “islands above the rainforest” and can grow up to 3,000 meters in height. The Auyan Tepui is the most well-known of them, and the Salto Ángel rises from its plateau. Kerepakupai Merú, the powerful waterfall, is known by the indigenous people as the “jump of the deepest place.”

Cathedral of Barquisimeto

La Llovizna Park

Panteón Nacional de Venezuela
The National Pantheon of Venezuela is the structure that houses the preserved remains of notable persons in the country’s past. It was situated in the Altagracia parish of Caracas on the same plot of ground as the church of the Holy Trinity, which was constructed by Juan Domingo del Sacramento Infante in 1744, dedicated on July 15, 1780, and demolished by the city’s earthquake in 1812.
